Have questions about ABA therapy or what to expect at Achieve? We’ve put together answers to the most common questions from parents, caregivers, and families.
Achieve Behavior Centers provides ABA therapy for children from 18 months through early elementary school years. We focus on building foundational skills that prepare children for long-term success at home, in school, and in the community.
Our team uses data-driven methods to track your child’s progress in real time. Every skill is broken down into measurable goals, and adjustments are made based on your child’s growth. You’ll receive regular updates and meet with your child’s BCBA to review outcomes and adjust goals as needed.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy is a research-backed approach that helps children with autism build essential skills through play, positive reinforcement, and individualized teaching. At Achieve Behavior Centers, every child’s program is tailored to their unique strengths, challenges, and goals.
ABA therapy at Achieve is active, fun, and highly personalized. While some table-based activities help with school readiness, most learning happens through play, movement, and natural routines. Children participate in one-on-one sessions, social play groups, and structured activities led by experienced therapists.
Yes. To begin ABA services and receive insurance coverage, a formal autism diagnosis is required. If your child is showing signs of autism but hasn’t been formally diagnosed yet, we can help guide you through the evaluation process.
The earlier, the better. Clinical studies show that children who begin ABA therapy around age 2 often make the greatest developmental gains. Early intervention can lead to stronger communication skills, improved social behaviors, and better school readiness outcomes.
Challenging behaviors are addressed with compassion and evidence-based strategies. We don’t punish or shame—ever. Instead, we focus on understanding the reason behind a behavior and teaching new, more helpful ways to communicate or cope.
Getting started is simple. Reach out to our admissions team, and we’ll guide you through the steps—insurance verification, diagnostic support (if needed), and an initial consultation. Once you’re enrolled, we’ll match your child with a BCBA and create a plan tailored just for them.
Parents are essential partners in ABA therapy at Achieve. We provide regular caregiver training and goal-setting sessions so families can carry over skills at home. This collaboration ensures your child continues learning and growing in everyday settings.
Every Achieve center is designed specifically for ABA therapy—with engaging, safe, and child-friendly spaces that support learning through play and exploration. Our centers include individual therapy rooms, collaborative play areas, and spaces for family guidance. Each center reflects our commitment to compassionate care, individualized support, and measurable progress.
All Achieve centers are open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Therapy schedules are personalized for each child based on clinical recommendations and family needs. Full-day and partial-day programs are available.
